Thank god Martin came in with that water explanation. I was about to rant about it happening to me the 4-6 times I've pulled heads.

To the original poster.... Your 60psi on Cyl3 is not good. Have a leakdown done and find out where you're losing compression.

 

I've done it several times and never had an excessive amount of water in the cylinders... a little bit gets on there from just the removal but not any signifigant amount. maybe its just my experience.

 

from this statment in my head it sounded like he pulled the head and had alot of water in each cylinder. so apartenly i took this statment the wrong way. i have done several hg's and yes i know water flows thru there. i just pictured him pulling the head and all 4 cylinders being full to the top with water. so once again my bad.
