What kind of miles have your guys put on your SR20DETs?

I just turned 230k miles on one of my 240SXs. I did the swap at 115k miles. The swap supposedly came with 80k miles (NOT km) on it according to the cluster on the clip and the receipt (I had a higher mileage clip). So I'm at 195k miles on my SR20DET, and it's still going... has a little bit of blow-by, but it still has lot's of power in it.

The motor has full bolt ons (FMIC, exhaust, etc.). It's not even tuned and it's been on varied boost over the years from 7psi-15psi. I've been running 10psi for quite a while.

The engine has been well maintained. Nothing crazy just 10W30 Mobile 1 Synthetic every 3-5k miles. New plugs 1-2 times a year. Fluids flushed and filled every other year (radiator, transmission, etc.).

Is this some sort of record or something. Whenever I tell someone that my SR has almost 200k miles on it they can't believe it.

What type of mileage do you guys have on your swaps?

 

I'm sure RoadRacer Patrick is up there by now. I have no idea how many miles my old SR coupe had on it when I sold it to him.

 

well my first SR developed rod knock 6 months in and still ran for 1.5 years til it finally took a crap. keep in mind it was a pizza delivery car its entire 2 years of life so had to have had 100k easily and never left boost. that was the little t25 that thought he could

as of now 4,000miles after the rebuild but it gets driven maybe once a week for about 20 miles,chassis is 230k plus.

 

my last sr out survived 2 cars lol. i bought it with unknown milege and put roughly 35,000 on it in 2 yeasrs driving the piss out of it. never once had a serious mechanical issue

200k is pretty good though
