95 nissan 240 help
my brother just got a 95 nissan 240sx(auto) with 110k miles , the car was overheating due to a clogged radiator , we flushed it and replaced thermostat , but now something else came up ... he was driving and out of nothing the car stopped moving forward like it stayed in neutral he said ...
he allowed it to cool down and then tried again , the car drove for less than a mile and then it did the same ... it wont go forward or in reverse , so he ended up getting it towed to the house ... what you guys think might be wrong ? transmission ? or could it be something else ... thanks a lot ... |
he just told me that one day after he bought it , he checked the transmission fluid level and transmission fluid started pourin out of the dipstick ....

my bros friends checked and he said it might be the pressure plate... i was just wondering if that might be what it is ... is that the function of the pressure plate?

they are called torque converters. and yes they go bad as for the pressure plate it is bolted on to the flywheel with the clutch in the middle 5speed only |
