Default my poor car wont go above 2500rpm

Well thats my problem. I just replaced the clutch, so my s13 has been siting for about 3 weeks (work takes all my time.) I changed the maf twice thinking I got a bad one from the j-yard. I am getting a good ground on one wire and 1/3 of a volt on another. I'm assuming theres a power, ground, and return wire to the ecu? Maybe the return wire is cut. Ill get a
continuity tester and make sure theres no breaks in the wires. What else could make an SR not rev over 2500rpm? There are two unclipped harnesses hanging from my transmission, but they don't seem to go to anything. I have driven the car like that and it shifts fine and measures speed.

SO IDK IMA FUKD?

Try unplugging the MAF... if there is a tuned ECU, it might not like it...

True story... happened to me

the 2 wires are the 4th and 5th gear speed sensor... aka no top speed cutoff if they are unplugged

I'm thinkin vacuum leak...
thats the common issue.... you usually don't just have electrical problems one day and then not the next... a bad connection, sure, but this doesn't sound like a bad connection...
good luck with it
