Here I am. Make me your slave

I just purchased a 1990 Silver 240SX hatchback with a bad headgasket for $1700.00. The body its in top condition not a single scracht or dent.

Now I need to know who in the Tampa Bay area has been successful swapping their SR20DETS themselves ? I already spoke to Yuri from SRSWAP and I can get the engine and the modified harness already to make it a drop in affair (or almost) but I would like to have some sort of emotional support on the side with experienced people...**cough**cough SR20DET and Martin if I can get a hold of him. Anyways Ill be towing the baby home and will rest in the garage until the new heart and soul is found.

Damn I never posted anything this long but anyways I just decided to drop by since this is will be on of my favorite sections for right now and its so exciting to learn about something new.

i can get a hold of martin and the person that helped martin do the swap was my nieghbor. it took them one day to do the swap at his shop..mmmm air tools

. but yea i can get a hold of him.

I dont know if these guys are on the board but Big Dave (he use to own a black CRX)and Glen(he use to own a red CRX) have done the swap. From what I understand they are pretty easy on the 92 and up 240. Because yours is a 90 you may have to fab a motor mount.

hahaha i got my DE-T installed before all of you

and my little brother is tryin to get a 240sx and were gonna do a DE-T swap in that.

Christina the post above yours she has a newer 200sx SE and plans on doing a swap too.
