Ok, In my hardbody I put in a new clutch and flywheel... After i did so, my trans started making a metal-metal grinding noise... Well, I finally got time to pull the trans yesterday and I found a 2-3mm wide spot where something was grinding on the input shaft of the DS...

I have the trans on the porch, and was looking at it, it looks like it wouldnt be the bearing, but I honestly dont know... I poured out the fluid from the trans, and it looked like I was a little low on gear oil...

Any input would be great! Im trying to get it back together today!!!

other than that, I don't really have any idea. This sounds like something you would have to see inorder to figure out...

 

Problems fixed, just got the truck home... Driveshaft was at a hard angle and was rubbing on the trans.

 

I hate it when I get my driveshaft at a hard angle. she always bitches about it...
