If that's the case, you're probably going to have to fab something up like an adapter plate. There are a few 200sx nerds on this site who'll chime in.

you can just use any maf adapter, but you arent going to get any more power out of it.
theres not much out for the 1.6 motor, since its pretty much a lost hope, some turbo kits, but only really good hope is a 2.0 swap.
ive been kicking around the idea of getting a 1.6 for a dd, since i miss my se-r, and want another car to drive.
but i cant deal with the shift boot, or crappy ass steering wheel.

i loved my 200

honestly...scrap the 1.6 it will hold up to some abuse..but makes no power whatsoever

i did boost on my old one...it was fun for awhile but it got old and i wanted n/a back

a really badass swap for the 200 is the sr20ve great powerband and is making about the same numbers as the bluebirds and avenirs (2 of the 3 fwd sr20dets)

its needs a few things to get it correct but there is a guy i know here in st pete who knows the vvl like the back of his palm.

id also rec doing the rear brake SER conversion...getting rid of those drums in the rear will make a world of help when your trying to use the power you may get from a swap.

also beef up the suspension/wheels/tires

the base models and the SE's came with the lower grade suspension...so if you can upgrade that i would highly rec that too...even being fwd they handled very well

i think the only difference between base, and se-r suspension is sway bar diameter.
b14 suspension is totally terrible anyway, so it doesnt matter too much.

the coils could handle a heavier load you had the wider wheel base with "performance tires" and the thicker swaybars

that was the difference between the suspension/wheel/tire between base...se...and SER

My boy had the Pulsar swap in his 200. Such a sick ass swap. The sr20de is even nasty with some cams and a tuned ecu and the typical bolt-ons. I'll see if i can't get all the deatils on his. heres a pic b4 the swap.

trust me wheel base is the same between all 200's, might have stiffer springs, but thats like comparing dog shit to horse shit, and yeah, better tires.

I have to ask if this is an old-school pre-240sx (88 and earlier) s12 or a Sentra based car. When I read this first, I assumed it was an S12.

he is talking about a b14..

and your right about the wheel base...it didnt come with a different setup for the wheels

as for that b14 (the red one)

i helped build that...and i did the same swap as that one

i believe it made like 210 or 220 in like 16psi or something like that..i cant remember fully off hand

but it was a bitch figuring it out...due to the maf being hooked up backwards
