Default Problems with A/C

I turn on my a/c climate control and it blows air, but not cold air. If I press the buttons to go to different vents, it won't do it. Ive had freeon (sp!) put in and it apparantly doesnt stay in there.

Ive had someone looked at it and they say its the a/c line where it goes above my turbo manifold is bad and thats its leaking from there. BUT, what about the different buttons not working on the climate control unit?? Is the unit bad??

I would shoot some die in the system with some refrigerant and run it for a day or two. You will be able to see where it is leaking from. About the vents not switching i would check the harness on the back and if thats ok there is a posibility of the unit being bad. But does the A/C button work? Is your compressor coming on at all?

the light is not coming on due to low pressure sensor telling the compressor there's not enough freon to run the system. The mode door actuator may be bad, or wiring may be bad-causing the vent control to be inoperable. I PM'd you.
