5 to 7 pounds is fine for stock internals. the rule of thumb is 10 pounds on stock internals.
good luck and have fun

depending on the turbo u can run more boost, if u run a t25 then 14 pounds will be good but anymore will make the stock clutch slip...... if u go for a t 4 lets say then about 7 to 8 pounds is the max on that clutch, i sugest replacing your rod bearings and head gasket, and make sure u always have the right amount of oil becus ka's exspecually boosted ones will knowck with low oil lmk if u have any more questions

i think the nissan forum needs to give out entrance exams prior to participating in this forum.

entrance exam that involves comprehension and reading the first sticky . then a special chapter on how to use the search button.

I think alot of this needs to be stickies, or linked to in a ultimate sticky type thing. The problem with searching is you never quite get the exact answer you were looking for. you can search and find all kinds of info about boosting a KA, but not a whole lot if anything about boosting a KA with 95,000+ miles. Same things with things like cheap mods. Basically everyone knows the whole intake, headers, exhaust, but most people don't know things like removing the SCVs, or that SOHC pistons will produce alot higher compression in a DOHC, or that dual exhaust cams make more power.
its all the same stuff that everyone wants to know, but no one really knows where to find it.

sorry for the thread hijack
