single cams giving me hell..help wanted
well last night my car was just cranking and the car wasnt ever attempting to start. after at least a half hour of trying to crank it over the car finally started to try to start and then started, after it started i drove it arond the block and it kinda sounded like it was breaking up and then after like 5 minutes of driving it pretty much cleared itself out all the way. this morning when i started it it was running very shitty and sounded like it had a misfire but i am really thinking this is a fuel issue of some kind. the car only has 90k on it so im not thinking its anything to serious. thanks if you can help
Trying to start your car repeatedly for 30min will definitely fry your starter. It'll cook the solenoid.
Did you smell any fuel after attempting to turn the motor over a half a dozen times? If not, you're not getting fuel to the injectors. Did you hear the pump running at all?
It's hard to diagnose over the net, but the info above should help.

something like that happened to me and it was an injector going bad or bad wire connet to injector had to replace one injector with o-ring/seal and use tune up greese on plug

KA24E's are fun. I've had so many problems in the past. lol
anyway, sounds like your starter, but it also sounds like a fuel issue.
Leave a number and depending your location, take a look at your car.

Ive had the exact same problem and it didn't come out to be anything like that at all. What it actually was, was the distributor. One of the ignitor chips isn't firing right so the car misfires. At times it won't start because of that but an hour later it will be fine. Checked my spark, fuel, and its gotta be that distributor. IN my case atleast. I've had two of my buddies check it out and they both agree. Fuel's there and plugs are doing their job and timing wouldn't cause it to do that. Good luck.
