240sx Timing Chain
What's the best option for a timing chain on a 97 240? I have a friend that's working on upgrading her car and in the process needs to replace the timing chain. Are there good upgrades like a timing belt or is just a stock replacement the best bet? The shop that she usually has stuff worked on quoted her almost $2 grand just for a timing chain...you can get a whole engine for that!!! Thanks...

2 grand is shit, go to nissan and pick up an oem set for a couple hundred. it may be more expensive than the aftermarket ones, but its more reliable and better quality
