Default ebay intake manifold question...

I'm curious if anyone has ever bought one of these ebay intake manifolds before. It seems like they are high quality but not sure. They seem like exact copies of the name brand manifolds and claim high quality. It makes sense too considering that what you pay for with many of the more expensive name brand models is the name. Any input would be appreciated.

also what realistic gains have you noticed. i have an sr with a turbo that flows a little bit more than an s15 t-28. Thanks in advance for everyone's input.

They are ok as far as durability. The only visual difference is they are rough on the inside. I question if the air is going into each cylinder evenly with the cheap plenum.

You can read about user issues with these by searching FreshAlloy. They call them Freddy manifolds. Some people's have been so bad that they vacuum leak through the actual walls of the manifold. Others just complain about the casting flash and roughness.

A short runner manifold in general will help you keep your torque level in the higher RPMs. This is something that works best with cams, and after you've done all of the other accesory mods.

seems like its just like the GReddy one, I'd extrude hone the inside and port the runners, but looks good besides that. Just buy the one from xeventhorizonx
