just bought a 200sx
 

I drive a civic hatch and I just bought a 87 200sx with a vg-30 5pd for $300. All the car needs is a clutch(so the guy told me). I really don't know anything about the car other that it can make a great drift car. So I was wondering if anybody knows some good sites to get some info about these cars? Thanx!

I've had two; a 1984 ca20et with a solid rear axle and a 1987 200sx se, like yours.

I loved them, only problem was that you had to improvise to make things work... but I like that sort of stuff.

oh that rocksss!! S12 platform..
not the prettiest car..but its a good rwd platform..
i think it would suck as a drift car..hard to find parts..but as for grip..seems like it would have good potential

the front and rear suspension on those are set up just like a 84-89 300zx, and same motor too (intake is different) rear sway bars are swappable between the 2. 87-89 turbo 300zx sway bars would be an upgrade i`m sure. and yeah, check out the club-s12 site.
