I have a problem here with the KA-T im going to build.

The setup will be a SSautochrome topmount manifold, with a external 35mm wastegate. The problem is that I don't know where or how I'm going to find a downpipe that will connect to the wastegate and the turbo compressor housing and merge into one before connecting to the cat.

If there are any guys w/ KA-T that know how to find these pipes let me know. Or are there other ways that the setup can be done.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about I can probably find a picture of how the setup will look.

it will have to be custom.

easiest way is to buy the 3" u-bends and flanges and have someone with a welder mock it up and weld it for you, or a shop. chavez motorsports seems to put out good fabrication, and i know taylor welds too now i think (he's at zfever).

if you want to save on "custom" parts, get a greddy or other SR style downpipe and test pipe and your exhaust, then you only have to fabricate the section between the turbo and the greddy pipe, basically an upside down "J".

 

ya i was thinkin it would have to be custom...if your goin to be at the meet tomorrow night ill prob look at some other ka-t and see how their setup.

Did you sell those injectors?..i still want them.
