Aem Wideband o2 question

Default Aem Wideband o2 question

am I gonna get a check engine light when I install this sensor since I do not use the oem plug in. what do I do .

well do you have this same product. do you know for a fact .man I have looked on every nissan fourm and nobody will answer my question

you can use 1 20 ohm inline resistor (or 2 10ohm's) inline with the old plug's harness. thats what i did, i have a different wideband buti t should be the same.

either that or yeah you'll have to either weld a 2nd bung in to run the stocker, or just remove the CEL bulb.

^ what he said. or you can go with one that sneds a narrow band signal to the ecu to keep things in check. there are a few out there unless you already purchased the aem.

couldn't you just tap out the EGR bung for a regular narrowband 02 sensor? easier than welding a whole new bung on. and if its the stock cast iron manifold...those things suck for welding!
