how it going i was wondering where can i find the engine vin number for a 92 300 zx thank you. i dont mean like the code, for example for honda = b16a2.
i need to know because im wonder if the Z got a new motor in it or not. thank you

he just said "not that code". Nissan's don't have VINs on the motors. There's a serial number on it, but there's no correlation to the chassis VIN.

Ha...i just skimmed through it. If you search on google you can find all the casting numbers by date...i forget the website...You can put in 1993 300zx... and it will give you the engine casting numbers produced in all of 1993 (Ex: 2009 to 3042).
