Default wondering why this happens in my 240?

well sometimes when i've just started my car it will not go in to 1st right away i have to go to 2nd and 3th then back to 2nd then first. Or when i pull up to a stop light i go to new-torl then try to put it into 1st it doesn't want to go. What do you think this problem would be stemming from? I have just installed a new clutch and bleed the line so i'm just not sure whats wrong any help would be great thanks

yeah, also sounds like 15-year-old-tranny syndrome. As for the problem right when you turn it on, every car I've owned has done that. Including my new Scion.
