Sputtering after about 15-20 mins
well just want to know what yall think
I can drive my car for about 15-20 mins then it just starts to break up Real bad. At first its when i transition into boost then it will start to do it when i am just in vacume. It will start to sputter and back fire, and the whole car will start to shake and basically go no were. WTF can this be? I got new spark plugs and i borrowed some coil packs and its still doing the same thing. Also when i turn the car off and then back on real quick the car bearly idels, like it will just sit at 200 rpms untill I turn it off and let it cool down then it will drive fine but then do the same thing all over again.
Any ideas as to whats going on?
thanks

Check the ground on your maf.. The ground will run from the maf to somewhere on the intake manifold. It should read no more than .09v If it reads more than this you need to reground the MAF. This could be one of your problems.. List your mods and ill try and help you out as much as possible. The other thing that it could is your Temp Sensor for your ECU.. there are 2 temp sensors one has a single wire going to it.. this one is the temp sender for your temp gauge on your dash.. the other one that usually has a Red connector (and it has 2 wires) is for your ecu. My friend just had the same problem on his FWD sr20de+t and i replaced his temp sensor (ECU) and it runs like a champ. I also replaced the connector.. Try this two things out. Hopefully this helped..

Also try www.sr20forum.com (It dosent matter that its mostly FWD, there all the same design and block)

it wont be the MAF, bc when it loses its ground, it wont rev over 2500 rpm period.
jube we can try and order a new temp sensor, its worht a shot

Question why would a temp sensor start to make the car do that? i am kinda lost when it comes to the eletronics part of the car. Were can i pick up another temp sensor and were is this bad boy located?
temp sensor tells computer how much fuel to dump. ever noticed how ur car runs better when its cold outside? if theres clouds of thick black smoke hangn out ur ass end well ur computer is probably thinkn its cold as shit so its dumping fuel. located next to upper radiator hose on intake manifold. try checking it for corrosion and cleaning it with a wire brush to make sure its contacting properly.
