well i dont know if its due to the cold weather or what but last night i was at a night and put it in neutral the rpms didnt go lower than 2grand and normally the idle is 900...i looked at it this morning and fiddled with the thorlttle linkage and i heard a click and back down to 900 it went...is this something i should replace or have checked out...im not really going to put alot of $$ into this motor since SR is day to day....but i just dont wan the throttle hanging wide open?

try some carb cleaner around the throttle body area. see if there is grime on the tb that is connecting etc etc etc.

LOL Matt, remember u telling me about how the throttle stuck open on the bridge in the HAMMER... 350-400ish whp and cant stop! oh skeet!

ya when i was driving last night ...i would hit the brakes and i could fel the car trying to keep moving on its own...clutch in the rpms go up to 2500 or so..pulled over played with it throttle closed shut....hasnt asked up yet...but im going to hurry myself and put new motor in, i want it so bad right now, especially when its cold

that happen to me once when i got pulled over by a cop - ! this was when i was at 5-6 psi ( off the WG ) ... i pull over and i feel the car still moving.. i had to turn off the car and the cop thought i was trying to run away - ! .. lol

took my license ran a couple of scans and i told him that my thorttle got stuck open ... he didn't believe it at first.. by luck .. the throttle was still stuck when i turned on the car and it was 25.7 % according to the s-afc - !

the officer saw it and he goes.. i do apologize and he told me to get it fixed before i become another accident on the road

the same cop stopped me 1 week ago ... lol .. oh man i got a bitching .. wet road and sliding the car about 5-6 ft ... lol ... didn't get a ticket, just told me to fix my exhuast ( 3inch pipe straight to the back ) .. funny phrase was "I've seen you before... ? "
