Default boost and nitrous

how much boost or shot of nitrous can i do on a L28 engine i as thinking of 10 psi or a 100 shot or 125 shot on a stock engine. and i don't mean NAWZ. and i am going to put a high flow oil pump so the nitrous does not hurt the bearings. give me some ideas

There really isn't just a number you can choose to decide how much boost. I think the n/a stock compression is 8:81 You can just turn it up little by little until you find the area of detonation. Of course an intercooler would be wise for this and also those stock n/a injectors are so damn small. You could alter the fuel pressure and get some more fuel in by buying an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or go as far as adding injectors and using pressure switches for boost. As far as nitrous on the motor, I really don't know what people run on those motors. I would think around a 75 shot would be safe. It just really depends on a lot of factors.

High flow oil pump won't stop valves from melting should you decide to get greedy and go to far. You need to think about upgrading your injectors or running a wet kit if you plan on pushing anything more than a 50 shot. Also make sure you tune this thing so you know whats going on inside. Nitrous is a great thing if set up properly. Do it wrong and it won't be so great. BTW why Nitrous? Why not upgrade somewhere else. I would think about a different turbo and more fuel if your looking for more power.
