240 starting problem

Default 240 starting problem

hey my 92 240 have a bad starting problem and i want to know if any one elses 240 do4es the same thing ...i dunno know if its the starter or a bad connection ...or if anyone has a starter for sale for cheap as hell

starting problems can be caused by several different things. If the starter engages and the motor spins, then it's not the starter. You probably already knew that. Tell us what the signs are. Then we can give you a better idea on what to look for.

make sure the terminals on your battery are clean and the connections are nice and tight.

always make sure the clutch pedal is in obviously and the nipple piece that hits a switch ( forgot the name now ) is making contact.. that's a very common problem.. those dam rubber nipples they sell in nissan are very popular ..

we think it is the ingnition switch and we are going to try that today.

its probably ither the clutch switch or tyhe starter relay
