on a factory gauge for S13 dash, 3rd tick up from the bottom.
on a factory gauge for S14 dash, right around the middle, sometimes a hair above

on water temp gauge, 160-180

i have the sensor on the upper radiator hose... today i was cruising around for about 30mins, with the a/c at full blast... just installed a koyo radiator so i wanted to see how high teh temp would get... the temp stayed 160 at the early part of the drive, and gradually it climbed up to around 190-194 and stayed there.... The reading on my cluster stayed the same, about halfway. I'm sortha happy because b4 the koyo the temp would go up after about 15mins of driving with the a/c at full blast...
but should i worry if the temp reaches up to 190's?

And for mr chin180, yea i did do a search for the topic in yahoo (among other nissan sites as well) but had no luck, and you would know that if u read the first sentence in my post. I'm sure there's info out there if i search long enough, but i dont know, this being a tech forum i figured it would be kinda good to ask here eh? or maybe i should've tried to use "googol" first? Anyways, sorry for the "vauge" questions...

Anyways, thanks driftchick for the info.

a googol is the number 1 followed by a hundred 0's..that would be running really hot .Temps differ between upper radiator hose, lower and the block. So without that info its kinda usless.
