pros and cons to this year and model? anyone had one?

the CA18 is a good engine? whats its capabilities?

same motor that`s in 180sx. from what i understand, it`s a good motor. but they only made them with the ca18 for 2 years i think. not many still roaming around. don`t think i`ve ever seen one on the road. still see the 2.0 lt 200sx and the se v6 on the road though.

the 2 years would be 84-85? Is the power potential good with the ca18? I am a noob at the nissan stuff, sorry.

Not the same motor. CA18 single cam ET mtoor, nto the DET.


semi trailing arm suspension which is horrible
ca18 engine taht burns exhaust valves which is horrible
a transmission that breaks all the time whichi s horible
oh, i could go on.

They are wonderful little cars, but take lots of time and money to make them even stock these days, let alone performance oriented.

What about the fj20et? Was that only offered in overseas models? Is that a good swap candidate?

i would do the VG30ET. matt made shit loads of power with his, imagine it in a lighter (somewhat) shell!

yeah, the sev6 has same motor as 300z. shouldnt be too hard to turbo it. ive thought about doing it myself. when i'm not in iraq.
