Very interesting. I wonder how he made it. It doesn't look THAT bad for design, maybe a bit narrow in cross-section. Remember, you probably have at least twice the pressure in the exhaust manifold that you do in the intake manifold. For me, that's 46 lbs of pressure. Its going to find its way out of that manifold at that pressure.

I still have my doubts about that test anyway. On the ford 2.3's, a log is worth about 20hp, a header worth about 30. Since I'm building my own, I'll forgo the 10 hp to have a much easier build. The 2.3's tend to run much higher boost than say a Honda, many run over 20psi every day (I run 23 on pump gas), I would think a more efficient header would show itself here, but it really hasn't.
I'm not saying a full header doesn't make more power, I'm questioning how much more power it makes, and at what expense (whether buying or building, or keeping it from cracking).
