Question Similar cars to the 240?

Ok, im lookin to get a new car (not sure if im selling my 240 yet though). I want something similar to a 240: Well Balanced, fairly agile, 5 or 6 spd, prefferably a 4cyl instead of 6cyl, rwd. I've been looking at Porsche 944's...they seem very similar: 50/50 weight ratio, very agile, rwd, manual transmission, hatchback...are there anyother cars that are similar to the s13 that im overlooking?

PS 0nly looking to spend about 5k max

stay away from a 944. expensive to maintain. a $5K one could easily have $10K in maintainance to be done. I am an old school Porsche guy, having been a member of PCA for the past 10 years. I have heard many horror stories about 944 ownership.

+1 thats what I was planning to get but went with an s13 just for the maintenance reason.

Keep the 240, i dont know what you have done but you can get it at 11 secs. Get the sr20de rwd trubo in there, ou turbo the ka24. All else fells put the rb20det in there. No reason to swtich cars as you can make your 240 pretty much a any car killa. I wish i had one, but all i got is the lil 1.6 but it wont be lilttle for long. You will hear her pssssssst!!!! Bottom line is i think your car has much more potiental than any of the other cars mentioned. Been to XATRacing???

Come on now i said if all else fails. I never knew it was that crappy. I never got to mess with any rb motors. Was just giving advice.
