Default turbo question.......

ok first of all, this is probably in the wrong forum but i rather have the nissan guys opinion on this since i too have a nissan.

Ok, i have a garret t03/04b s-trim installed on my car now and i want to make 400 whp but i dont think this turbo is capable this much power. But the thing is that i heard there is a guy running exactly 400 whp on an mr2 using the same turbo. I'd appreciate it if some of you guys with more knowledge about turbos help me out here. I need to know ASAP. The guy who is doing this for me said we should use a sc61 for the setup i want. I would like to see what you guys think on this.

thanx

I think you're crazy trying to make a 400hp FWD dailey driver. But it would be cool. Good luck.

I'd post in the forced induction forum, this is really a question about turbo's and turbo system components, not so much about the spec V...but goodluck bro.

you could upgrade to a to4e. it will be cheaper than the precision and should get you where you want. precision sc50 would work too. theres alot of turbos that could get you where you want it just depends on what kinda boost you want to run to get there, what kinda powerband you're looking at, and how much you can spend.

SC61 = thumbsup! good choice, hope the motor can support it.
