My brake lights are stuck on and I cant see that good under the dash to tell what the problem is. I have disconnected my brake lights in order to save my battery. What is most likely my problem? HOw easy a fix is this? Thanks

happened to me last week but my light housings melted cause if it resulting in $150+ in parts.

there is a rubber/ plastic grommet thats supposed to be on the brake pedal. it pushes in a switch that in turn, turns the brake lights off. this grommet either fell out or most likely broke. theyre like $4 from the dealership.

also it should be the same as the 240. if the parts are the same then call up doug casson at autoway chevrolet, order it, and pick it up at will call cause they have them in stock. they sell at least 10 a day. i used to work there.

the number there is 727-536-7871 ext 327. they are between ulmerton and gulf-to-bay blvd on us 19 on the east side of 19.

Just out of curiousity. I know there is a switch that the clutch pedal pushes down to get the car started. Starter interlock switch i believe? .....i am assuming this switch you guys are talking about is under the brake pedal? and hence different altogether. I gotta go check under there. I wasn't aware of it if that's the case......

Oh yah, i already replaced my clutch one on the s13 a while back. S14 is doing ok.
