For the past couple weeks I have been having problems starting my car. When I go to start my car after it has been sitting for awhile or a cold start. It always takes me 2-3x tries to crank it over to start. A lot of times it will not crank over on the 1st keyturn but if I do that and wait 5-10 secs and do it again. It will start.. I dunno what the reason is for this.

I've changed the spark plugs, I have new wires, dis cap, clean air filter, fresh gas, pretty new 300ZX fuel filter.

Has anyone had this problem before or may have some ideas of why this is happening?

Uhhh...starter maybe?

 

I don't think it can be the starter. It NEVER cranks over on the first try.. The starter is fine from what I can tell because it always starts just takes 2-3x tries.
