Question Walbro Fuel Pump?

I installed one yesterday and it appears to be running fine...but I can hear it. Its not so loud its annoying, but I've never heard any pumps before except when turning the ignition on. But this one...I can hear it. It does seem like maybe it goes away or gets quieter(sp), but its noticable. Is this normal?

Fisherprice has all the baby products for 1st timers, like the gas station, or the tractor or bike. but kinds sometimes don't know how to use it till someone with more experance tells them. IE you and the fuel pump.

Mike, its not loud enough to hear over an exhaust. If I barely turn up my radio I cant hear it at all. And remember, Im running a stock exhaust, so my car is really quiet without the radio on and the windows up. Yet, I could of sworn the little bit of sound goes away at open throttle. But the rise in rpms could be drowning out the sound.

I think all of the Walbro's are the same for the S13/S14 US Chassis..either way, its a simple install and I dont think theres much of a difference in fitment. The pump alone is half the size of the factory unit. A tie strap and your good to go

My cure: turn up the radio.

Most high volume pumps will be noisier than the stock units. The only thing louder than a high volume pump is a stock pump taking a dump.
