i recently posted about "what wrong" my car is like choking for air i think....i think it might be my IAAV because my idle has been high before it started happening and when i try to lower the idle from 1350 to the true idle of 850 it will go there but as soon as you bring the rpms any higher then 1500 it will then have an idle of approx. 1350 ....has anyone ver heard of that valve going....if so how much will it take me to acquire another one ....i do have and sr and if you disagree with my diagnosis what do you think could be wrong ...thanks for your help

Do you have a leak in your intake manifold gasket.

 

would ther ebe anyway for checking for that other then taking off the intake manifold to get the gasket off to check it....or should i just replace it and se e if it fixes the problem
