Default 3 S14s, 3 Hours, 3 Suspension Installs

Drew, my buddy, and I installed new suspension into our rides last Saturday and we were smoking!

I gave up my Apexi WS setup. They treated me well but my auto-x endevours require adjustability especially w/ non-adjustable Cusco strut & sway bars. They had many pluses but equal cons.

My HKS HyperMax II install actually was the easy part. Dialing in the camber in front was easy but time consuming. The Cusco RUCAS fixed my rear camber but was another timely process. I'll still need my alingment (free 3yr Tires Plus Agreement) to fix toe and caster. I have them on setting 10 of 30 and their notably more responsive/tighter.

Drew, chime in on how your setup is going for the rest to know.

Next shop day won't be until another month (I'm traveling). Glad I could help these guys out

yeah when i went to put that bahem-a-jack under my car it wouldnt go. seems that my prelude was about 4" too low. had to drive it up on a 4x4 and it just barely fit. sucks that they have to balance the tires for you, but other than that it was a great place.
so fore tire installation you might be allowed to put the tires on yourself, you have to pay to have them balanced, and you have to pay to leave your old tires there.
their air hoses have to be running some crazy pressure cause my impact never kicked so much ass before.

Yeah, the height adjustment was almost a loss cause.

I had it right all along but I just needed more leverage to get the perches loose. After that was a walk in the park to raise them. Naturally, the suspension has settled in and lowered more in the process so I have raise them yet again.

You're getting serious about selling your car? I get tired of working on mine sometimes too. You just need to enjoy it more rather than modifying it all the time. With Road Atlanta coming up, I'll be in the modding mindframe...

Every now and then, I organize a "Shop Day" or "Fix it / Tune it Day" for you all.

If I have some projects to do on mine or if I'm bored and want to help others w/ their rides, I setup a date and invite those interested to the auto shop at MacDill AFB.

Whats up Jesse, everything seems cool with the suspenison . Brakes are next right and the t/c rods. My car is starting to shake a little. .......It was fun and quick. Fast for it being the first time for me changing them out. Definitely doing this again.
I assume everything is ok with your car huh???? Hurry up and get back, j/k and thanks for letting me use the macdill base for usage......Had a very good time. If you need anything, let me know....you have my number.

You mean rattle correct? Mine did that with the Apexi WS despite using OEM upper mounts. The rattling bugs me big time one of these days, I'm gonna open up the door panels and fill it in with polyurethane or something...

With the pillowball upper mounts, it's not noticeably worse but you sure feel the tightness on turns!

Keep me up-to-date on the kouki front end (PM me with details).
