hey matt, how close in diam. are the z31 and s31...
rear subframe mounts? place called the specialty shop is making some replacement rear subframe bushings out of aluminum. i understand the rear suspension is similar. it would be sweet if you could use them, or would it make the rear end too tight? they are also making other solid mounts (diff/trans/motor) you might be able to adapt some for s13 use.

no...not PM's
this is a very good tech question and i would like to hear the answer... |
is this similar to say like spl subframe spacers and uras transmission mount ?
|
no, they replace the rear subframe bushing and sleeve, not sit inbetween the body and bushing. i aimed this at matt cause he`s the suspension guru and i`m curious how this will help the setup for drifting. whether it would make his rear end `too` tight. (hehe, matt`s rear end is too loose, it needs tighening up.....sorry i couldn`t resist.)

ohh sorry i didnt read the mount part.. damn that would shatter ur teath out...
|
umm..
s13 is nissan multilink z31 is nissan semi trailing arm there aren't many similarities. But. the rear crossmember insluators may be damn near close in inside diameter as the subframe bushings from splparts (www.splparts.com) it's hard to say whether they would work or not. What exactly are you trying to do?? |
|
120 bucks from tss. just trying to look out for you, thought they might be useful to you.
|
Remember though, S13s have FOUR bushings and Z31s only have TWO :-)
