hey me and a friend are putting in redtop into his s13 and its all wired up (so we hope is right)and hosed up the timing is correct and we put new plugs in it and dowsized the gap to 28. the motor is getting fuel spark and will turn over but will not run. any ideas??? i have been on the phone back and forth with jdm driven but ifeel bad having to keep calling and buggin him. if anyone can help please let me know some ideas. thanks

check starter wires and stuff, maybe starter is bad?? check that blue with red stripe wire (coil power) i beleive make sure that is all wired up, double check wiring from heavythrottle.com... other than that cant think of anything else...

 

orange wire on the dash cluster plug (right next to the ECU plug) has to be hooked up.. Most SR's will crank and not fire if it is not connected. It tells the computer that the car is cranking (comes from the ignition switch) and the ecu pulls timing for it to start easy.

is it an automatic tranny harnes(3 plug)? i did not have spark at all!!!!!! i had to tap the ground on black/red wire to trip the relay(but can run battery down)
