SR bogs coming off idle when cold with Power FC
Hey guys, a friend and I each installed our Power FCs recently and immediately both cars bog pretty severely when they're cold and accelerate from idle. The problem subsides as water temperatures rise and is gone by the time the car reaches normal operating temperature. I suspect the default Power FC settings are to blame. Has anyone experienced this issue and solved it?
My car was upgraded from a Mine's ECU and has a Z32 MAFS and A'PEXi 550s. I have compensated for both items.
The other car was upgraded from a stock ECU with stock injectors and MAFS.
Both engines are S13 blacktops with PFC# 414-N015. Mine is a '94 and my friend's is a '96.

Sounds like you need soem time with a wideband O2 sensor on a dyno!!! the basmap in the PFC is crap. I tuned Enjuku's car using the PFC and found that i needed to rebuild the entire timing map. your idle problem sounds more like a fuel issue tho..But i can get it squared away.
Give us a call and we'll work it out.

Scott, I'd love to come down and have you tune the car, but I'm in NJ, remember?
I remember you posting about the PFC's timing maps being crap. I do have some of your timing tips and I was actually wondering if maybe I could IM or call you for a little help.
I'm hoping that the issues with the bogging have to do with the cold idle correction thing.
Scott, your input is appreciated. By the way, congrats on your car!
