Tranny swap in a 91 summit
 

We got a 91 summit for free from this old guy that bought a new toyota pickup. First of all it randomly quits on us. Not sure if it's the computer or the fuel delivery system heating up somewhere any ideas on that?

Second The tranny is missing 3rd gear. It's a 4 speed, I was just wondering what trannies would fit it. It has the 1.5 motor in it. If we have to we can pull a cophers engine/tranny but I'd rather not and just do the tranny it's not a racing car just a get back and forth to wherever car. And don't tell me about the 4g63 or w/e swap I know about it lol. My step-brothers' friend Kenny did that with a GST engine in a 91 mirage he used to work for mitsubishi in bradenton.
