Default Oil for the 4g63?

Straight from FP site. What do you guys think of this? and how many people are actually running 20-50w?

I have been runnning 20-50 during the summer months. Breaks down a little less quickly. Lifter tic has been hell though. Need to get some 3g lifters. My first pull always comes back with 36 counts of knock due to the lifters not unsticking till the second pull haha.

It's been proven many times that oil with higher zinc content offers more protection in high performance engines. Just ask any old school racer and they will all agree. It's good to know which oils still offer good protection for higher powered engines. I remember 7 years ago whem BG Fluids did a test on dino oil and the Walmart Supertech 20w50 was #1

my car hates 20w50..... i run 10w30 royal purp and have no problems now for almost 3 years

FP should really focus on making their turbos more reliable, rather than doing this.

Howie, I always used Mobil 1 10w-30 in that car and never had a problem

A friend of mine recently suggested Motorcraft Super Duty 15w40 diesel oil for my Evo. I'm a bit skeptical, but he said it contains a decent amount of zinc and has an API service classification of CJ-4/SM (not sure yet what that means).
