ok, since you guys seem to know ur shit. i have a 93 eclipse, with the pissy 1.8L in it. so my question is what is the latest year turbo motor that will bolt in, what all is going to be needed and approx. cost. any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

 

save your time and sell the car and buy a awd turbo. there is a lot more work involved than you might realize and this subject has been covered many times before. the money you would spend swapping it would be better spent on the difference in cost bewteen what you sell your car for and the price of a awd turbo.

 

im not really worried about the cost or time. this is just something to occupy my time. i already have a 98 gsx. so i just figured, what the hell, hop this one up to.

 

i bet you can sell your car for what 2grand goto dsmtrader.com and find a 1g awd for about 1g with bend valve's or something wrong with it. that will occupy your time.
