What kind of fuel mods would be necisary on a 90 eclipse with open down pipe and small 16g to run 15lbs? 17lbs? 20lbs?
Would it be nesisary to run race gas at 20lbs?
I have a non turbo fuel pressure regulator and a 225hp walbro that should be here on tuesday and the fuel pump rewire is going to be done tommarow. Should that be enough for those boost levels?

Also to run 550cc injectors would an afc be in order? Or would it just run rich at idle?

Thanks!

With the non turbo FPR on there you should be able to easily run 18psi safely on pump gas but without a FMIC after one hard pass at the track the SMIC will be completely heat soaked. Running a good mix of 110 octane you should be clear to run 20+ psi but without a FMIC to help cool the intake charge down the SMIC will be a major limiting factor.

You can run 550s with the 1G MAFS but you will need to open up the bypass chamber another thing to think about is that the 90 ECU has smaller fuel maps than the 91-94s so the ECU will be very limited at trying to correct the AFR.

The best way is with an AFC of some sort but you can get by without one it definitely makes tuning much much easier.
