ok just bought a talon today 2gen for 700 it runs fine starts right up revs up just when you put it in first and try to go its shuts down and you gotta turn key all way way back to off and then it will start right back up fuel filter? fuel pump if you can help let me know thanks

yea, it is, but not only your fuel filter, i had this same problem and this fixed it. you have to shut the key off to reprime the fuel filter basically. and i needed a new fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines and what not. youll probably need all of that too. once one thing gets clogged, the entire system needs to be redone. also replace the catylitic converter as it gets clogged and shuts the car off. o2 sensors need to be replaced at the same time (you should do all of the above mentioned items including cats and o2 sensors at the same time). it might be a little money, but when you do it, your car will run so awesome and youll be as happy as can be, trust me! i would even bet on a 15-30hp gain because of all of this. while youre at it you could get some extra horse power by finding some 750cc injectors. they work beautifully with the stock ecu ive found. i used Precision's and it ran perfect with a jump in horsepower instantly.
