small issue
I was driving home tonight and the car stated missing, engine would stumble alittle. this also happend the other night real bad, felt like it was running on 3 cylinders and I ended up only going 55mph on I-4 with my hazards on with a bumpy ass ride.
My logger is showing me a code 41. injector circuit. could this actually be a ignition issue like a transistor or coil? idk what else on the "injector circuit" besides the injectors could be bad. |
i'd check the transister, coil and your wires, also check the injector plugs on the harness maybe

well looked up codes, 44 is coil and transistor so it's prob not that. wires are fairly new. however the plugs on my injectors are pretty shotty, they don't actually clip onto the injectors because every plug is missing the metal clip, they just kinda sit ontop of the injector. but it has been like this since I bought the car and never given me any trouble.

That could be your problem. I know 1gs are notorious for that problem

You can just get injector plugs from a 420a 2g.
There were a few in the junkyard when I was there a couple weeks ago. They are a better style connector to use. Drew likes to use them. |

happened again on the way home from work, car sounded like a V-twin sport bike for 10 miles lol. used the data loggers diagnose feature to determine it was the number 2 injector. pulled over and un-plugged and plugged in the plug a bunch of times to work the contacts clean. Car drove the rest of the 20miles home just fine. I think we know the culprit. also the contacts themselves have green corrosion on them.
