compression test help
Well i did a compression test on my 1g today and they read as following:
Cylinder 4:150psi
Cylinder 3:160psi
Cylinder 2:145psi
Cylinder 1:170psi
It was a dry compression test.Does the numberes seem like a blown headgasket?I really hoping its not but with my luck it is.Let me know what you guys think

I would say no your still within 20 percent off all the cylinders which is what they say is normal. Also usually (but not always) two adjacent cylinders will usually show low when a head gasket is blown. Pour a table spoon of oil down that low cylinder and see if the compression comes back up. If it does its probably an oil ring starting to go. If it doesnt I would look into maybe a burnt valve in that cylinder.
Is there any coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant? Thats also a good sign of a head gasket. IMO the motor is pretty healthy.

i checked the oil and coolant and i see no mixture.i put oil in the cylinder and it only shot up to 190 while the others where around 220-250.I dont understand this compression test or trust it.its only when it heats up it starts smoking and to me it looks kinda blue.I did 2 induction services and changed the plugs and theres alot less smoke.I really dont think its a blown headgasket car runs to nice to be it.
