Lo and beholdl with some help frommy coisin vortecfl(taylor) we managed to get the dsm put back together and the engine compartment sounds gobs quieter. It feel slike it runs better too. I miss having a car to work on but thatnk gawd I have my motorcyce as a contingency

Good deal. See that wasnt so hard. Check your compression next. To do it just hook up the gauge and pull the MPI fuse that is in the fuse block on the battery. That will stop the injectors from firing and hosing you down with gas. Crank it over 4 times for the reading. *hold down the throttle while you crank*

Also check your base timing. Should be 5 degrees advance at idle. Thats stock. http://www.myzero.com/engine/timing.html

http://www.myzero.com Bookmark it. It has some good stuff on it. Finding the O2 sensor wire setting timing puling engine codes. Good stuff.

sweet Ill check the timing before the end of the week kind of worries me though I hate to see sighns of impending doom
