How do I know if I only need a new clutch disk or if I need a new pressure plate also? Since I wasted my clutch at the T&T My pedal has been much lighter. I noticed a difference starting a week or two before the T&T and when I slipped the clutch too much on a botched launch It wouldnt engage in second and would slip under aggressive throttle through 3rd and 4th. Its is semi grippy now but the pedal is weak. Do I need a PP too???

The PPs are supposedly good for at least 2 street discs worth of abuse if not more. I dunno about the lightened pedal effort though...sounds fishy. Gee now wasnt that helpful of me Joe...

Joe
It might be wise to have on availible. You really cant tell until you open the tranny. I had mine at Jorges all week. I told him if I need on to order one. He told me that mine was fine but I would need a new on the next time. I had no problems with a soft clutch when Mine went out. Maybe the bearings in the PP are going bad to give you a soft clutch feel. Dont know.
