Is your check engine light on? More then likely since you yanked out the egr but check for other codes as well. Go to 2GNT.com they should be able to help you out. Also there's a "key dance" trick to get the codes then right the number of flashes down to find out what the code(s) are. This all can be found on 2gnt, the link I posted within this post.

For one, you shouldn't really just replace parts left and right until you can be pretty sure you've narrowed it down as a culprit. If your cel doesn't work, then you should replace the lamp. You could even just swap it for something else in there cuz most of the bulbs are the same from what I remember. Once you're able to see the light illuminating, then you can do the suggested key dance and proceed from there.

Hook up an OBD II scanner and see what codes pop up. The check engine light not being on could be a (2) things... the light bulb went out or someone took it out.

Don't buy anymore new parts. You are simply wasting your money. First thing you want to do is see if the car is throwing any trouble codes.
