Clearcoat
I don't think my GST has a clearcoat on it, it's silver, but it doesn't seem like the mitsu silver, would it not having clearcoat cause it to be like a grayish color instead of more silver? and I was curious if I could just get it clearcoated without repainting it. Anybody know if this could be done?

In my opinion it wouldnt be the best idea in the world. You will never be able to get all of the imperfections within the paint out with out repainting the car. Save your money and get a full paint job.

I just don't think the car is shiny enough. Plus I have been asked by a few people if it had clearcoat because they thought it looked kind of dull.
And the other day, I went to the auto hobby shop on base to put my exhaust on and one of the technicians told me that my car needed clearcoat.

I haven't buffed it yet, but 2 weeks ago I washed it and waxed it twice. But not really any difference. From what I can remember it's pretty dirty at the moment, so I will wash it again this week and buff it to see what I get.
