Stuck nut, of course!
Well, installing my turbo is not going smoothly at all....Everything came off pretty well yesterday, but now I was about to put on my oil lines, and the nut on the oil filter housing wont come off at all....

Apparently my camera doesn't like taking close ups of anything, but you can still tell what I'm talking about. The nut is 2 pieces, I got the middle one out, but the oil line threading doesn't fit into it, so I think I need to get the whole thing off. As you can see, the big part doesn't go straight in, it goes in at an angle. Is that normal? How the hell am I going to get this thing off? I have been hitting it with a hammer, pb blasting it, prying the hell out of it, and nothing.

I would do the double nut trick and just take the entire fitting nut off then go from there.

I have to take the entire fitting nut off....Thats whats stuck. I tried looking for an adapter at home depot that would go into the stuck nut, and then also fit the oil line, but the one that looked like it might work, they were out of, so I need to go to another one and see if they have it.
All im not sure about is if the stuck nut is supposed to be at an angle like that. If it isnt, that means its cross threaded, and I dont want to take it off, because then I wont be able to put the new one in anyways.

mine goes into the head, but i had the same thing happen to me, i would either leave it alone and go to the head or get a tap and die set
