Default No clutch pilot bearing?

Doing my clutch I found no pilot bearing in the end of my crank. Figuring the guy that went before me with this car didn't know what was up, I went to Auto Zone to get one. Special order. The one they got was too small so I went to the stealer. The dealer says that there isn't one in my car. Can anybody confirm? 1995 GSX...Thanks!

To clarify, the bearing you see in the end of most cranks set up for a MT. So wow - what keeps the input shaft from flopping around in there? Super sturdy jap steel or something

We don't have one. It throws people that have worked on other cars for a loop.
