When my car is not running it is hard as hell to move by pushing it, also when the car is running and not in gear, if i lift my foot off the cluch pedal the car dies also i can not get the tranny to go into gear when its running... any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Check the shift linkage and also make sure the transmission is in neutral on the transmission itself... Besides that I have no clue. TOB?

 

i pulled the tanny... only took an hr!

 

...sounds like the clutch isn't disengaging. I suppose you already realized that, though.
