Default Main Thrust Bearing 7 bolt

Is there 2 different types of thrust bearings that came in the 7 bolt design? Because the one in the service manual is different then the one in my block. It is not a one piece bearing.

Yes there are two types. One piece style and two piece style. The two piece style is better. You can shim the two peice style for perfect clearance. Aftermarket bearings always come with the one piece center. So you will have to buy two sets to get 5 bearings for the rebuild.
