So Im on I-4 cruzing along with traffic. doing about 81...(with traffic mind you) in a 65... when there he is sitting just over the bridge.. a state trooper..
well i see him make the loop.... at this point let me remind you about the traffic.. so much infact that he had to swerve around them to get behind me..
so he pulls me over and says..."do you know how fast you were going?" i simply replied yes sir about 80 with traffic and all....i figured.. hmm i have my Army plate. my active ID and hes kinda young... Nope. he wald back to his car and wrote me a 185.50 ticket with 4pts for the licence. so i guess i found one of the assholes who hate the Military or Imports.... needless to say its been a bad week, My orders with the Military ended, so im unemployed, my talons got a blown motor mount, my Rx7 wont start and the bike has a blown clutch....... WTF mate!!!!!!

ive gotten 13 tickets...and always got pissed off at the cop...for some stupid reason..but youve gotta know when ur doin 15mph over the speed limit, regardless of whether he singles you out or not you can get a ticket..you were doin somethin and you knew what the concequences COULD be, so....ive found its easier to just think about how not worth it is, dont speed and you wont get a speeding ticket =) (and no, not saying i dont speed at all, but im a lot better than i used to be

 

I've found that when they ask you if you know how fast you were going just say "I'm sorry officer I wasn't paying attention to how fast I was going I was listening to the radio and just staying with traffic" and they normally say "well watch your speed this time, I'm going to let you off with a warning this time" I've gotten pulled over probaly 20 times or so in the last year and I've gotten 1 ticket and that one ticket I was clocked at 119 in a 50 and got written a seat belt ticket lol.. I talk my way ot of tickets pretty well.

 

Well the ops are assholes...There were two times where I was doing 75 in a 55 (I was with my mom once I got a warning and the second time I wanted to see if my Samurai could get up there) and the first time I got a warning and the time i was tesing my truck he pulled the suped up GT 5.0 that was behind me over...Its funny how cops think....

 

So speeding is ok as long as everyone is doing it?

Ive been able to get out of a few before... Actuallt on I4 again doing 80, when the cop pulled me over he was like whats your rank.... I told him i was a spec 4 and he just said to slow down alittle ..
The best was coming off active duty in Ma. I just got out on a little leave from Kuwait/Iraq I was in my DCU's (the tan ones) I didnt have any civi cloathes with me, im doing about 85 with 2 other guys.. we were all heading back to the Ma area that we were from..(in 3 seperate cars) so.. about 85 just coming out of a construction zone.. not sppeding in it but speeding up to get out of it... anyways the statey was sitting on the other side of it.. he knaps all three of us.. goes to all of our cars the back to his.... he then said and i quote" ive got you on video and radar... each of you give me a hunred bucks and all you'll get is a warning" well i pulled out the cas and was on my way... doing the math later that ticket was about 645.00 with all of Mass'es fines.. so i'll take a bribe!

 

does anyone know of a lawyer in st pete that work with speeding tickets?

 

let me get this right the cops a asshole because he pulled you over for doing 16mph over the speed limit? lol

 

i hear it cost more over there for some reason .. no clue try some of the hills. ones and seee what they say
